I have a dear friend who, along with his wife were in a nearby shopping center. In walked a rather large young fellow with a loud voice and a T-shirt with the F*** word on it in large letters. My friend's wife promptly told the loud mouth to can it, to take his filthy T-shirt and himself out of a public area and to learn some manners. She got a round of applause from everyone near by.

Sometimes, you have to do what you have to do!

You should have called either 911, or the STM's Centre Providence dispatch centre (I have their number programmed into my cellphone directory), and report your location, the route number, direction of the vehicle, and its number (i.e. 22-049). The bus would have been intercepted by SPVM officers within about 90 seconds and those ungrateful North Africans given a swift kick in their kafifas. If any of us white folk had made such a scene in Casablanca or Algiers, we would have been beaten to within an inch of our lives and thrown into a fetid dungeon to have our scars ooze with pus while the Canadian Government would have done nothing to secure our release. The same fate should happen to them when they are here.

I certainly don't believe that anti-social behaviour can do anything to improve their situation, but I can understand that magrheb kids who have been portrayed as potentially dangerous by nature in the media for most of their lives and who are destined to enter a workforce where they three times as likely as the rest of us to be unemployed might have a different oerspective on "good behavior". Perhaps a fellow North African driver would've been more likely to step in.
